MM Parquet and carpentry got a call from a client in the Dunmore area of Co Kilkenny and they were eager for us to look at the property as they had just recently bought it and were in the middle of upgrading it and discover there were a few issues with the subfloors and wanted the best advice moving forward.
During our visit to the client in Kilkenny, we thoroughly examined all the subfloors. After conducting a detailed inspection, we provided the client with our professional advice, suggesting that it would be necessary to remove all the original floors. To install a new parquet flooring, it is essential to ensure that the subfloors are levelled appropriately.
After assessing the requirements, we presented the client with our most competitive price for the project. This included the removal of the old floors and the installation of a brand-new herringbone flooring and a wide plank flooring. As part of our comprehensive service, we also took care of removing the skirtings, cutting doors if necessary, and arranging for a skip to dispose of any damaged flooring materials.
Once all the necessary remedial work was successfully carried out and the subfloors were prepared for the installation of the new solid parquet floor and plank floor, we proceeded to supply and fit a high-quality solid oak herringbone parquet and a 200 mm wide plank engineered oak plank flooring. To enhance the overall aesthetic appeal, we finished the flooring in our classic walnut tone, using a wax oil satin mat finish. This finish not only provides a beautiful appearance but also offers durability and protection to the newly installed floor. Our solid oak flooring is sourced from trusted suppliers who adhere to strict quality standards.
We understand that durability is a key factor when choosing parquet and plank flooring, which is why we only offer the highest grade of European oak. European oak is known for its strength and longevity, making it the ideal choice for any type of flooring. In addition to its durability, our solid oak flooring also boasts a beautiful aesthetic. The natural grain patterns and rich colour variations of European oak add warmth and character to any space. Whether you prefer a traditional or contemporary look, our solid oak flooring can complement any style or any of our classic tones. Also, with this project we installed the finest of solid brass around all the border details which when finished with our stunning classic tones, the photos speak for themselves.
